Here are the winners in the competition ”A World of Books”

For several years, the ALMA office have been part of the jury for the competition " A World of Books" where children from schools all over Stockholm participate. The creativity has been flowing during the spring semester and finally the winners have now been selected!

In the competition “A World of Books”, children in grade F-6 get to read books from all over the world and then, as an outlet for their creativity, they create a contest entry where in text and image they link the book or books they read with a theme. This year's theme is "Together". The competition entries are judged by a jury focusing on how the theme is reflected in text and image, as well as how the students' creativity is expressed. Many contributions to the competition are also displayed at the local district libraries.

About Children and Books
The competition is part of the Children and Books project, which aims to stimulate children's reading and language development. It is a collaboration between the Stockholm City Education Administration, the Stockholm City Library and Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
