Speech by Swedish Minister for Culture Parisa Liljestrand followed by Jury Chair Boel Westin who will announce the 2023 laureate. A presentation of the laureate will follow by jury member Balsam Karam. The event will be hosted by Athena Farrokhzad.

Welcome by Kajsa Ravin, Director General of the Swedish Arts Council, and speech by Maria Åkerlund De Francisco, Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden in Rome, before the live broadcast of the announcement in Stockholm. A presentation of the laureate will follow by jury member Katarina Eriksson Barajas.
