Eva Lindström, the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award Laureate for 2022, will attend the Book Fair. Lindström and Elina Druker of the ALMA jury will speak with writer and journalist Josefine Sundström on Friday, 23 September at 1 p.m.

Two previous laureates will also attend the fair: from Belgium, picture book artist Kitty Crowther (our 2010 laureate); and from South Africa, Carole Bloch, director of the reading promotion organisation PRAESA (our 2015 laureate).

Fair attendees will be able to meet all the laureates at our stand (C02:39, shared with the Swedish Arts Council) over the course of the fair.

Our stand will also host an array of exciting guests, including:

• Per Gustavsson, ALMA jury member and children’s book illustrator; illustrator of the series about the Knyckertz family
• Elias Våhlund, author of the Handbok för Superhjältar series, about a manual for superheroes
• Johan Egerkrans, author and illustrator of Norse Gods and illustrator of the new Swedish edition of Astrid Lindgren’s Mio, My Son
• I Just Want To Be Cool, comedy group and authors of the new Skurkurnas skurk series, about a school for young villains
